Again. 20 words? Really? We got to snack on side items while we worked. You get two sides for free per shift. That’s pretty much all there is to know
I like that I get 2 free sides during my shift. We do not get free meals though, which is understandable. I know not all Longhorn Restaurants have managers that buy pizza or subs, but I am lucky enough that we have a great management team now. They often buy out for busy weekends and holidays when we work. They even get cakes and snacks for when employees leave, or send food (sometimes flowers and a card too) to employees that are going through rough times which is above and beyond what I’ve seen at other restaurants.
Two free sides per shift (not the specialty sides). They're all starches and broccoli, all the healthy/ tasty stuff costs extra, and even employees have to pay for it.
When we were pulling out new menus, we had to come in before work for staff meetings and got to sample all the new food!
This is the case with any restaurant manager job
The best thing is the free regular side items. The worst is not receiving an employee discount on kids meals, appetizers, or desserts.
