The health insurance is middle of the road for a such a large company with massive billion dollar revenue.
World class beneits at low price
Lonza is going in the direction of non PPO large group plans and are trying to push more of a POS plan. The kind that is good if you dont have an accident and never have to see a doctor. So much so that they offered $400 cash into an HSA to convince/trick people into getting it. No one in my group bought it. If that becomes the norm, I would be concerned.
Coverage is decent, some pills are high. specialists $25 ER is pricely
Great health insurance that covers almost everything.
Premiums are on the rise everywhere, but our payments are reasonable for the coverage and services available
Good coverage at a very reasonable price.
There are two health insurance options. You can choose a cheaper high deductible plan that has a health spending account. Lonza contributes $1500 per year for free to your HSA account if you choose this plan. The second health insurance plan is a traditional health insurance plan. The deductible is low ($200) and premiums are reasonable. I am on this plan with my spouse. For both of us, I pay $113/month including health, dental, and vision. It is a very good plan compared to plans at my previous employment.
60 bucks a month for a single person
Great plan that covers my needs
