The 401K was a good start to developing a retirement plan. The health benefits were also good for anyone seeking some coverage.
The health insurance could be better. The 401 k is pretty good. I have been saving for some time now. I like the dental insurance.
Benefits price increases significantly every year
Their health insurance seems to be ok, but you probably pay more per paycheck than some other companies. For vacation, they have a PTO only system, and they are fairly stingy when negotiating it during the hiring process no matter how much experience you have.
Health care normal. Vacation is about 1 week during the 1st 1-2 years then increases every couple of years.
All of it is horrible. Loomis does not invest in its workers and that can only be seen in the type of benefits it has picked for its workers. It is the cheapest plan that the Company is willing to invest in but it is expensive for us, the workers. I worked at the Atlanta Branch and no one could afford the medical insurance. Your paycheck would literally be covering the medical benefits. Trash company.
The benefits packages offered are typical. The only con is that the company doesn't match much to the 401k.
Overall lots of choices when you want to pick something out or just do the 401k
The management team did not help in explaining the different types of packages. The supervisors were very helpful.
