They helped learn so much about the job and are very forgiving. One or two are a bit off putting to train with, but you get used to it.

The job training was very important to me and lowes foods. They would make sure you had plenty of resources before they let you go.

They are good about getting you trained for the position you are hired for. Managers get very good training in several stores.

I think Lowes Foods does a good job of job training. It depends on the department, but my training lasted a week. That's more than I received at a corporate level at other positions, at other companies.

Pretty much "learn as you go", "trial by error"

The training is pretty straight-forward. you do Modules on the computer and learning different products. Then you are on the register or in your department learning with a qualified individual.

They just kind of threw me in there and didn't explain everything very well and expected me to pick up on it after 3-4 days of training.

Cashier is a fairly easy job, but it takes some getting used to. My training was pretty easy and straight forward.
