I am pleased with the benefits package at MModal. I have health, vision and dental, all for a fairly low deduction from my paycheck.
PTO is 18 days a year starting (this includes sick time), flexible schedule and great work place environment (not to forget the fact that there are 20 different coffees/teas you can choose from and fresh fruit brought in twice a week). Employee discounts on various things from computers, to phone service, to cars. Each year there is a holiday party, and this summer they are planning a picnic in the park. The downside are the benefits. I didn't get to use the dental, but I used the medical and vision, and they are not good. Mind you, the medical insurance improved within the year I was there, and they are working on a better 401k (right now 1% match).
Great benefits for full-time employees. Their large size allows them to offer generous coverage for medical, dental and vision. On the down side, no medical benefits for part-time employees - and that means anyone less than 40 hours/week. Three weeks PTO, 7 paid holidays. Matching 401K - overall a really good benefit package.
Decent health insurance (optional dental, optical). Life insurance provided by company with option to upgrade. 401K with company adding to it yearly. Paid time off. Time and a half pay for working holidays.
many physicians in my area participated with the insurance plan
401k is not good. Insurance is also not great.
Good insurance, good PTO plan.
401k package does not perform well in the market.
Benefits are terrible. The company offers medical insurance, but it is too expensive. I could buy medical insurance for less on my own. They did not contribute at all. The 401K is typical.
The 401k plan fails the non-discrimination test, so basically it doesn't exist. The health-care plan is mediocre, but, I guess, it's there?
