M&T Bank offers medical and prescription drug coverage, life insurance, and long-term disability coverage.
Actual garbage. Employees used to complain to me on a daily basis about how high their deductibles were.
very expensive co pays for regular doctors
gigantic deductibles, almost like having no insurance at all.
They offer Independent Health which is accepted at almost all local medical care centers, they also contribute annually to the employee’s HSA.
high deduction........ else is good
It is great coverage but it can be pricy in comparison to other work areas
The deductible is, in my opinion, outrageous.
Coverage is decent but employee contribution is sizable.
"What's that weird pain? Should I see a doctor? Not worth it, I'm fine". This is how M&T's health insurance works. They help you help yourself. It's brilliant, really; I'm still alive. Also they contribute more to your HSA when your salary is brutally low. Grind your way up the ladder and, should you earn just a little bit over 40k, enough to finally make life just a tad easier, they start cutting it down. This continues up the salary range until it's gone. And, how do I put this so you healthy young millennials understand? The deductible is so high even Wiz Khalifa is intimidated.
$1500 deductible. Only consumer driven plans are an option. No difference in plans offered. Prescription coverage is poor. Max $3500 out of pocket expense
