Health Insurance coverage was generally good. Costs continue to rise every year though, and high deductible is the new norm.
401k was very good, health benefits not so much. High deductible health plan (3k deductible with 7.5k out of pocket max for family). Tough to make your deductible when they pay so low. Paternity leave offered 2 weeks paid.
High deductible, not great coverage
Good 401k match, bad compensation
Pay way to much for the insurance we have
Traditional and Roth contributions to 401K
Depending on the job grade, you receive a few weeks off (standard- 3 or 4). Medical- yes, but deductibles are super high. Dental- good only if planning minor work. Vision- they have ut, but never bought it. Vacation- 3 or 4 weeks (15 or 20 days). Sick days- yes. For future parents- 12 weeks maternity leave. 401K- yes, decent match. Paid holidays off. Some miscellaneous employee discounts. But working from home is the toughest one to get, since management doesn't trust the employees.
OMG they contribute to like, you're 401k and stuff! Like where else can you find that? Oh and if you have any salary left over , you can buy some stock! It's like options or something. How fun! There's high deductible insurance plans which are super great because doctors go to school for a long time and I love knowing I'm helping. It just means more when it comes out of your bank account, right?! Don't even get me started on high fives. Seriously. Like don't pay me more ever please! Send me an electronic high five I have like so many. So yeah super great benefits. Oh and the calendars are fantastic. You know they say millennials are going to be the first generation that won't have it better than their parents.. What Debbie Downers! Come to M&T and prosper!
"What's that weird pain? Should I see the doctor? Not worth it." That is how the M&T health plan works. They help you help yourself. I'm still alive.
It had the bare minimum
