The benefits offered by the entire UT System is fabulous. While I said they do not have a 401k, they actually give a choice between a 403b or Texas Teachers Retirement Account. The cover the health care premiums for employees. As a retired faculty member after over 20 years service, they will pay my health and dental insurance premiums for me, my dependents, and my spouse for life.
