Good plan, you just need to choose how to invest your money appropriately. No matching funds.
Average plan and contribution.
Standard with company match. I think they use Prudential and you can start after 90 days,
i just put a bit money in.
They help you plan for retirement
Very good, company also pays into 401k
Not anle to partake because of union membership
Match should be higher than it is
its just standard not very appealing to the new generation
People are leaving out important details making the match sound better than it is. You can contribute 6% they match 50% of that with a max $1,000 contribution from them. The $1,000 max is very low and makes this a really crappy plan. You would be best advised contributing the minimum to get their $1,000 and taking the rest to an IRA.
