“If you're salary you have flex time which is almost unlimited, but also up to the discretion of your direct supervisor. Totally dependent on who you're working for if this is a generous benefit or not.”
“It is pretty good all around”
“Like normal company. Not very good.”
Pay isn't great but the benefits are amazing
Non-union corporate worker, the direct health care benefits are top notch. No deductible, $10 co-pay to see your primary care physician, $6 cap on prescriptions, and low premiums if you participate in getting your physical and health credits. I also have pet insurance on my dog for a $15 payroll deduction. There's a 401K match. PTO sucks your first year but will build up pretty fast by year three. The flex time for salary workers and remote work potential is only as generous as your individual supervisor and individual department's philosophy, so it has the potential to be very good or not very good. If you work on property or near a property you'll have access to the employee dining room and a daily hot meal. There's also an employee snack store that sells food items at cost. The properties and dining options typically offer employee discounts and if you're a VGK fan you'll be hit with occasional ticket flash sales for seats. If you take public transportation, they participate in Club Ride and offer discount bus passes to employees. There's childcare on site at the MGM Grand but I have heard it's a bit costly.
Flex time off for managers+
401k, 4 hours PTO every paycheck, automated call-out procedure through 3rd party company
decent benefits, access to learning, and entertainment perks
I really couldn't say because after 7 months of working full-time hours, I haven't been offered benefits. So, from my perspective, they suck and might soon be the deal breaker for this otherwise pretty great gig.
Overall ok while I worked here.
Free food /Free Parking/Paid training.
Benefits were okay. Not spectacular but not the worst.
mgm had such great benefits
