MITRE offers employees a choice of health care plans.
MITRE contributes $600 to the HSA when you use the high-deductible plan. This largely covers the annual deductible.
Insurance options are pretty good. Employee contribution continues to rise.
Aetna was great, even when it changed to a PPO.
Has been good, but cost for middle-aged employees (who might actually need more than an annual checkup) went up considerably after 2017.
It was better before they revamped it 2 years ago, the deductible was not as high as it is now.
Getting worse, used to be great
The medical is comparable to other companies. Just don't have a lot of choices between plans.
Got skimpier and skimpier, while becoming more expensive for employees.

They keep changing it to save money. The latest change is minimum deductibles. After they switched to a self funded insurance plan, it all went down hill.
