The benefits package is competitive with other New York publishers.
Macmillan offers great health insurance coverage at an affordable cost and matches 401K employee contributions up to a certain percentage for full-time employees . Really impressive!
Low dental. Off between Christmas and NewYears.
It's fine, but most other major publisher jobs start with more vacation time.
Great benefits.. company pays a large share of the costs for a publishing company.
Time off is generous, 401k takes 5 years to be vested which isn't great
401k matching (capped, and only vested 25% after 2 years, 50% after 3 years...); standard 10 days vacation at entry level; good health and dental; summer Fridays and the company closes between Christmas and New Year's Parental leave and remote work flexibility are not priorities (which makes me question my future at the company)
I didn't receive benefits as it was an internship.
Great coverage for medical and dental. No complaints except only the minimum maternity time offered.
Low dental allowance and summer hours
