    MLB Advanced Media contributes the equivalent of 6% of your salary to your 401K, regardless if you contribute or not. This amount is contributed by MLBAM and is not subtracted from your salary. The 401K plans offered are competitive.

    Automatic employer contribution (not a match) of 6% to start. Eventually can go up to 15%!

    That it is available... Other than the 401K plan there are no benefits for freelance employees (which is the entire edit staff).

    The best thing is that the company matches half your deposit up to 7%. So if you put 7% of your paycheck in to your plan, they will match 3.5%.

    From what I have heard it is a decent plan. However, I am not fully versed on the plan itself quite yet.
