At Mariano's, we are offered a great 401k matching program as well as flexible time off!
I got paid $16 for training lol that’s chump change.
You get paid vacations while working at Marianos, you have exclusive, exciting (travel and entertainment related) perks only to employees.
Part of a worker's union.
No real benefits until after a year and a half. You also have to work a set # of hours and may not get that if hours are cut.
There are a lot of company perks. Aside from getting a 10% off discount every time you shop off the clock, there are additional great benefits that both part-time and full-time workers can enjoy. However, the benefits for part-time workers is limited.
There were not many benefits at all, which is expected working at a grocery store.
Most benefits like the 401k, health insurance, and things like that you need to average 28 hours a week (and they will only give you 25 a week for partime). But you get access to their deals with airlines, hotels, traveling, gyms, six flags. You also get like 10-20% off with Verizon, I'm not sure if this works for other companies. You get a week vacation after one year, two after two years, and if you're part time, 3 after 5 years. Or 3 after 3 years if you're full time. They also give Maternity leave.
I work in the bakery as a bakery clerk and the breaks are short depending on your manager. The worst thing about working bakery is that there is a lot of work if you close at night and during the day is keeping up with customers. ESPECIALLY in the holiday season, it is so crazy that I cried in front of all my managers because I was over whelmed.
The 401k Plan Match is 4% of 5%. This is the best thing about the benefits. The plan choices could be better but nice to have match.
