Marvell is switching to "unlimited FTO". If you ask around, this is a trick to get employees to work more and take less vacation -- because everyone is pressured not to take vacations.

It's about what's you'd expect from a big company: paid time off, vacations, and company shut-downs for a holiday break!

Currently new hires get 15 days of vacation; that jumps to 20 days after 5 years of service. No increases after that. The last couple of years, the company has imposed mandatory shutdowns mid-year AND end of year which use up 10 days of time off.

Seems kinda low, you accrue vacation time by working. You get roughly a little over two weeks a year, but they also have these company shutdowns two weeks a year, which almost nullify your vacation time.
