The best thing about the benefits package at Marx|Okubo Associates is that it is very competitive in comparison to others in the area.

Continuing education is a major focus of the company, a core value, and the company is generous in paying for training, licenses, conferences and the like.

It was pretty good overall. They offer a few different health plans, plus vision and dental. Coverage was good, easy to sign up for.

The ability to own part of the company through the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) is unique in our industry.

Good health insurance with generous employer contribution to employee premiums and HSA. Diverse array of other benefits offered, some at employee expense. One complaint is that sick time accrues at the end of each month but expires at the end of each year, so December time expires the same day it accrues, and no one has any accrued sick time in January, even if they have never taken a sick day.

30% 401k match program, stock after your first year of employment, company-paid employee insurance premiums.

Vacation time is very standard; 2 weeks a year until you work here for a long time, you get 3 to 4 weeks. Company provides a nice bonus check at the end of the year and gives cost-of-living wage increases yearly. Insurance is good if you're single. If you have a spouse or kids that need insurance, you get screwed by the high rates.
