Flextime and flexible work arrangements, including telecommuting, are available in many MassMutual departments.
not allowed by my manger - really?
You are commission only so they don't care where you work.
Depends on what part of the company you work in. Some areas fully embrace work from home and there are more than a handful of full time remote workers who live in other states. But some corporate areas are a little more parochial, and want to see you there every day. Remote technology is fully deployed and works very, very reliably, the only issue would be with the area manager - so make sure to ask about it in an interview if this is important to you. BTW - nationally there has been a marked decline in companies encouraging or allowing work from home, so MassMutual is actually a little bit ahead of many others.
Many groups have 2-3 day WFH policies and some allow full-time WFH programs
Depending on your department, they are very flexible on working remotely.
Some departments are very flexible with this while others are not. It also really depends on which manager you have. It should be more uniform.
Best part of the gig.
You can work from wherever you want.
Support work the concept of work at home - slowing improving technology to support remote workers.
Some positions allow wfh options and the company provides the technology to do so.
