StarStarStarStarStar Former Esthetician in Alamo Heights, Texas

there arent very many company social events or fundraising that really networks the employees services offered to be able to meet and greet different clientele for new business. Think corporate should look into volunteering and networking for more social interaction.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Licensed Massage Therapist in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

There are a couple of social events each year that management actually REQUIRES employees to attend. That doesn't go over to well and the kind gesture is lost.

I would not consider our quarterly meetings a fun social event but they are always informative and have food. Honestly, quite enjoyable. We also have yearly outings with all the local franchises.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Wellness Advisor in Phoenix, Arizona

Worst thing about their Social Events are that they spend 80% of the time regarding awards and by the time they get to social time with everyone else, everyone is tired or leaves. It's basically like going to church if you're an atheist and can't wait to leave or drink afterwards. Owners and management believe they're saviors and make everything about them and tell everyone that bonuses will come and how they "spend so much" on events and the events are not even that great.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Front Desk Sales Associate in Sarasota, Florida

Sometimes we do chair massage events or skin care events at offsite facilities, but front desk are rarely permitted to go unless it's to volunteer.
