Location dependent, but our scheduler is great. Changes can't be immediate in most cases, but very reasonable.
Management doesn't like to change hours, but they will. Just let them know that it is really important and why. They will have to work with you.
They are decently flexible with your hours when you start but it took 1 year for a schedule change to be approved

They are extremely flexible. When I was attending school, I was able to change my schedule every semester if necessary without complaint. When I need time off, I get it, even if I forget to ask two weeks ahead of time. (Of course it depends on the situation.) Even on the days that life hit hard and my loved one was in the hospital, I was allowed to leave work. Management is really understanding.

for the front desk staff, it is fairly flexible with notice, but for massage therapists and estheticians, it is nearly impossible to change your schedule if you've got a lot of requested clients on certain days and times
