Mattress Firm offers employee discounts on products.
They offered a price above the cost but the cost was already pumped up
The employee discount mostly involves being able to sell a mattress, pillows, or other accessories to yourself at an underprice. (My DM told me the official price is supposed to be cost + 20%, although if you're daring, you could go to cost or even below.) Beyond that...not much. We get periodic emails talking about how you can get discounts at random places that nobody has ever heard of (probably a by-product of working for a company headquartered in Texas when you live in New England). The only one that seemed actually useful was for Hertz rentals, although AAA members get a better discount, anyway, so if you're a AAA member, just use that and be done with it (the coupon code is literally printed on the back of your AAA card).
Buying a new mattres at cost so they say. From what I have seen it is hard to determine if you are going to receive a newcanything from this company. Very deceptive
One bed set per year at Company Cost
they had generous buying opportunities
very good employee discounts, even better when an item is discontinued.
It's a hefty discount, but they narrowed your purchase ability to a two week window every year. For two weeks every October, you have the opportunity to use your employee discount. If you miss this window, you have to wait until next year.
Decent vendor discount but only get it once per year at a specified time.
Ridiculously good employee purchase options.
Used to be really good. Because of company and manufacturer restrictions, the discounts are not as good. But they aren't bad.
