“You barely get any vacation here and they're not very flexible, so what little you do get is often spent on things like doctor's...”

  • Health Insurance  (3 comments)

“The health insurance plan that most employees can afford is still expensive and has a high deductible so you end up paying a lot out of pocket.”

    Not great, expensive crappy healthcare

There are 4 health plan choices, all are with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Please explore the benefit plans with your recruiter if looking to join MWC.

Health insurance is relatively expensive and doesn't provide good coverage. You can add family members but they cost somewhere around $400 per month or more. Dental coverage is only useful for a couple cleanings a year. If you need any serious dental work you're probably going to be paying a lot out of pocket. Limited vacation is one of the worst parts of working here. You get 1 week vacation and a few sick days. There are also a bunch of holidays where our office is open but most other companies are closed. They usually give us a single day off for Christmas. They have a 401k but they don't match any contributions so I never enrolled. No bonuses or performance incentives, no summer flex hours, no tuition or training reimbursement, no working from home (unless you're one of their super special favorite employees).

High deductible and not a lot of coverage

    McCabe, Weisberg & Conway Response

For 2018, there is one plan with ZERO deductible, one with $1,000, one with $1,500 and one with $4,000 which has the lowest premium. Please explore the benefit plans with your recruiter if looking... More

Minimal sick leave doesn't reflect business trend and there is no retirement to speak of yet they expect you to make a career out of the place with minimal pay increases

Time off package is really bad. The health benefits are super expensive for an individual and doubly so for someone with a family.

The benefits package is only there for a check mark. It is horrible. You accrue a little over an hour every PAY PERIOD. That does not add to a lot in the long run. And the firm does not allow unpaid time off. So you are stuck slaving away at this firm with very little time off. There are only 5 holidays a year that the firm is off.
