You can ask and they usually let you work by the time and shift that you prefer
You can request days off whenever you want. And also if you need to request more hours is easy to get them as well.
I was in college and they were very flexiable which my working hours. I could basically choose when I wanted to work once I gave them enough notice.
Had to work long hours at least one=ce a week with a small hourly pay
Very very flexible which is great as a student. This is probably the best thing about the work. You can unfortunately work quite late. You can reduce hours for study or even request whole weeks off
Excellent job for students as hours are flexible. They completely understand if you can't work one weekend due to the load of work as long as its not sprung on them. Alot of people have kids and if they need a morning off they will be offered later shifts and the other way around.
McDonald's are very flexible with your shifts. Request book where you just give the days you want off and they're pretty much given all the time. If you want to swap your shift with a conworker you can do so as soon as the day before.
They are usually pretty good for being flexible around your schedule, like if you have another job, or if you attend college, or if you have kids.
I got every Saturday off during my college education
They would work around school or college work etc. However, it was far easier to get flexible hours when you were in with the management, it was a bit more difficult when you were not one of the gang
