Caltrain pass is awesome, provided breakfasts and lunches are great to have, flexible work-from-home and pretty decent vacation policy.
2.5 stars but rounded up due to pre-IPO stock options Free Caltrain is great. Little perks are pretty good (catered lunch 2x a week, snacks, weekly happy hours) though declining a bit as budget becomes a bigger concern. Medical/Dental/Vision are good for employee but really expensive for dependents. No 401k match is disappointing. Stock options are nice but as the valuation increases become less lucrative. Parental leave is laughably low by Silicon Valley standards (3 wks maternity and paternity), especially for a company that trumpets diversity and holds ending gender bias workshops (which calls out Google seeing benefits from increasing maternity leave from 12-18 wks).
Easy benefits election and compensation is on par with SV standards. Parental leave is, however, the bare minimum and there is no 401k matching.
Worst parental leave in the entire bay area. I think they should do away with what is in place currently so its apparent to everyone that they don't care about the minority group that is new parents. All talk about diversity and removing gender bias, but no action. Last update was that conversation to include benefits for new parents has been swept under the rug.
Vacation time is generous and people actually take it. Late stage pre-IPO options (not rsu) are a massive perk. Lunch twice a week is great. No 401k match is baffling. Free transportation to and from work is great. On site gym and showers if you have time to use them. No charity giving match. No education reimbursement.
Everyone was satisfied, and the environment seemed quite relaxed. The rooms decorated based on countries around the world was a nice touch.
Satisfied with overall benefits package.
No 401k match currently on offer
Family oriented and comprehensive. Company that cares.
The company provides decent perks and nice time off.
