Competitive benefits for this area, which were recently upgraded to improve hiring. Still have some work to do with pay ranges.
The 401k is pretty decent
Best: Sick time separate from vacation PTO. Good number of holidays and usually management allowed additional days off at the end of the year. Worst: no carry over of vacation was allowed for years by CFO at the US site but was allowed at Canadian site. Heavy workloads often did not allow for taking PTO and resulted in giving vacation back at end of year.
Benefits somewhat competitive with local market
There was a monthly social gathering to promote physical exercise and social interaction.
The health insurance plan had average coverage for the cost of the plan.
