Unfortunately got laid off due to firms lack of ability to sell.. over a million dollars behind projected revenue. Anyone hiring for a manager/sr manager role in healthcare consulting?

My company was bought out by Avista private equity firm. They’ve revoked our ability to rollover more then 40 hrs of PTO (which is sick and vacation leave) we cannot contribute to coworkers in need of PTO hours to care for themselves or a loved one & there is no means for a person to accrue time to take off for a new baby, surgery or to care for a loved one. We now need a doctors note when we take off more then three days. But we can’t take off even when sick because we’re short staffed! WTF!

I am a nurse with over eight years of experience and hold a BSc in Nursing from a public university. I am interested in working in healthcare in the UK/US, and I am currently located in West Africa. Do you have any recommendations for me?

I have been working in the healthcare industry for 18 years. I recently got my bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration (finally). I was just told that my resume was “too green” for the medical office manager position I applied for. Not sure why that would be if I worked 6 years supervising out of the 18 years. Why is it so difficult to move up?
