“5% off Meijer brand grocery items (not produce, not deli. Milk, eggs, canned good, etc.) Purple cow and true goodness are the biggest ones. And...”

  • 401K Plan  (49 comments)

“It's automatic, no consent necessary. They'll match your contribution up to 5% of your total pay. If you like 401ks, it's not bad.”

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off  (44 comments)

“4 years, FT, and I get 5 paid days, if my manager approves. If they don't, I don't get them at all.”

Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 5% of your salary plus a 2% base contribution every year. Good parental leave policy for mothers and fathers.

No benefits were offered to part time employees. The full time employees seemed happy with their benefits however I do believe they had to pay for them.

There is no incentive for anyone to work harder as there are no bonuses or merit based raises, the laziest person makes the same as the hardest working employee. Employee discount is only 10% and only for General Merchandise, not for Health and Beauty, Grocery or Pet Items. Topped out Full Time Employees get "Top Rate Adjustment", which is not a raise or a bonus and actually cheats the employee monetarily

Yeah, you get a discount, but it doesn't go toward food.
