I have access to multiple levels of medical benefits as well as a huge library of shopping discounts through my employer
Monthly premium is high, there are no out of network benefits and you have to see Memorial Hermann doctors/facilities.
The benefits package was ok, it was not the best, it could have been better for the employees working there.
For supplemental or prn positions, you can contribute to your 401k
Inexpensive and low deductibles and copays.
The health insurance benefit for supplemental employees is ridiculously high. To get the catastrophic insurance for PRN employees, the contribution is $153 bi-weekly! That's more than what an employee's spouse pay, for an actual (non-catastrophic) health plan.
The time off is low compared to other fields of service in the same business and specialty in the same city.
Benefits are decent and are better from previous years
Overall good benefits. Must use Memorial Hermann Health care system. Anything out of network is way too high.
