“Merit is based on your work requirements. you dont get more PTO based on the hours you work. You get it based on hitting your minimum required hours for the week and hitting it biweekly. Rate should be ~6h/biweekly. Personal days (18 hours) and Religious holiday (6h) are gifted every 6 months, personal days are paid out at the end, religious holidays are not. No bonuses are awarded ever.”

“The benefits are lacking, the network is somewhat broad and spread throughout but dont expect many mom and pop clinics, they prioritize their own system (which is a 50/50, if you work here, you know)”

“6% matching with fidelity, 403(b) & ROTH 403(b) is offered. let funds maturate a year and transfer to your own private ROTH IRA account and pay the taxes on it. much higher return esp with the matching. ”
Tuition Reimbursement, retirement match, good health insurance plan
Maternity leave isn't allowed until 1 year of employment, Contrary to reviews, you can get better insurance privately (through a broker) with better benefits for half the price of the deductions you pay in the system. Vision is worth it though, Dental is only good for 1 cleaning per 6 mo private is the way to go if you want comprehensive for $2 more per month (fillings, 2x cleanings a year, preventative or regular ortho surgery with a 20% or less responsibility), 403(b) plan is generous and can maturate into a ROTH 403(b) & ROTH IRA plan. once funds maturate after one year you can transfer to your own private policy.

Really pleased with the benefits offered by Memorial Hermann. 6% match with traditional/Roth 403(b) plan, health insurance premiums are pretty reasonable, PTO, and they often make rounds with the treats cart for employees.
