They offer PTO, Spiritual PTO, Personal PTO and give holiday PTO for most major holidays
You occur these every two weeks however you do not get to enjoy the vacation because you are put on call.
They add 5 hours of paid time off for every two weeks of pay day
You accrue time even when you are using PTO. PTO accrues pretty fast. You get a special day as well.
Pto accrues quickly. I always had plenty of days off when I needed them.
only 6 hours PTO given per paycheck. When the units put you on-call or cancel you they force you to use PTO.... being canceled doth not equal vacation time. This routine comes to haunt those later who might actually need PTO in the time of need and simply do not have it because PTO was used when the unit didn't need staff.
The package that is offered to an employee that makes minimum wage is the same package that is offered to the CEO even though the amount of money that is earned is significantly different. The company should offer a tier program so that the percentage of what employees have to pay for benefits is the same across the board. Memorial Hermann should also offefer packages that allows employees to have more control over the choices of health care providers and facilities.
20 day of PRO, 6 paid holidays and 3 Personal/Spiritual Holidays a year.
PTO accrual is fair, increasing with time employed. Maxes out at 240 hours.
Paid time off for vacation, sick leave is one and same. Same amount of time as offered at similar agencies.
