Good Benefit Package Overall. Just the basic stuff.
Best thing about mens warehouse was probably the time off they allowed for you and how easy it was to get the days you needed off.
55% off employee purchase? What a joke. That equates to 5% less than a customer pays during a bogo sale. Discount applies only to the original, or recently raised full price of the item being purchased. In many cases it is actually cheaper to buy things without the employee discount. They used to offer a sabbatical, but I guess they felt their employees no longer needed that.
55% off everything sometimes 65% around holidays, got free clavins when store started selling them
It is like most other benefit packages.
No 401k match. Employee discount on stock purchase, but stock never rises. Health insurance is expensive and coverage is expensive out of pocket.
They used to give us sabbatical but once the new CEO took over, that all ended.
The company changed their insurance providers 3 times in the 5 years I worked for them so I never got to familiar with any of them.
The company tends to be very lenient with vacation time and days off as necessary, especially for part-time workers. I never saw an instance where an employee needed a day off and didn't get it. The company also offers a 401k program, though I did not participate. The pay is fairly low, but is probably pretty average for a retail environment.
Full-time employees can receive health dental eye and pet insurance. There are options to choose from so you can find your best fit. You earn vacation and sick time rather quickly. There used to be more perks and the company is trying to compensate but the employees who have worked there longer are not as satisfied compared to the perks before.
