Pay is decent. It's fast paced which is what I prefer. But it is dangerous and everyone seems on edge

The benefits were overall very good. Health and dental were both available and HR was very clear on how to access and take advantage of these benefits.
The employee discount is a joke. My store has been saying we are not able to get the 11% rebate if items are purchased with PRD. Also if buying a discounted display item, if happens to not be complete, they refuse to offer a discount due to it being incomplete because it is PRD. Any customer would receive a discount, so it is discriminatory toward employees to not offer the same deal to an employee as you would a customer. The discount of 10% that you get by using PRD is supposed to be part of the benefits of working at Menards. Unfortunately it seems they do not honor that part of their benefit package.
