The best part about the benefits is the health care. It is extremely affordable and they also have an on-site clinic free of charge.
Best thing is they offer full benefits package with 401k plan and match up to 5%. Plus the really good employee discounts and incentives.
There wasn't a benefits package for co-op students.
Benefits are probably the best in the state of Alabama
There is none for my job. They hired me through their temp agency although I am sent to school by MBUSI. It's stupid and it doesn't boost morale.
Vacation: you start with 11 days in year 1, and work up to 15 days in year 5 then stay at 15 days until year 10 when you add again 1 day per year until you get to 20 days in year 15. PTO: 24 hrs a year. 401k: good match, company puts in $1,000 per year regardless of whether you contribute or not. Pension: none Health insurance: used to be better; now they have 10% coinsurance and copays are $60 for a specialist. They also increased contributions and fees for other things (ER, hospitals, etc). Healthcare: there is a medical clinic on site staffed with nurses and a GP; you can get some generic meds there for free.
Benefits package is very good. Company matches up to 6% match. Health benefits plan is the best.
The company-paid amount paid for medical, dental and vision was superb. The 401K matching was great as well and while I don't think new employees are able to take advantage, the pension plan was great too.
