For a small company Mercury has a good benefits package. Most noteworthy is a 401(k) program that they contribute to regardless of employee participation. Medical, dental, and vision are all in line with what you would find elsewhere. Aside from traditional HR benefits, Mercury also allows a high degree of flexibility in work schedules including work from home days. In 2018 the company placed focus on both technology and processes to help provide increased support a distributed work force.
Benefit package is very nice considering Mercury is under 20 employees.
The Mercury team puts a lot of thought and care into health insurance programs annually and provides employees with a generous subsidy for insurance. Mercury is also flexible with scheduling time off. The benefits package would be even better if days off included the day after Thanksgiving and half days on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
Mercury New Media offers a great benefits plan. They frequently revisit the benefits offered and ask for input from their employees. The company ensures that the offered benefits align with the needs of the team. For a small business I feel they also contribute significantly to help their employees out. One benefit that might be lacking is access to life insurance options. It would also be nice to have the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve be included in the paid holidays.
