Mercy Medical Center is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package for its employees. We encourage our employees to take an active role in managing their health and offer a reduced premium for those who participate in the My Healthy Choice program.
Good health insurance, 401k is good match is middle to high level.
The cost and overall coverage, not many places accept the benefits and where you can go for medical care is very limited
Health insurance is pretty decent compared to other places, you do have to wait 2 months to be eligible for insurance though.
A little pricey for someone employed there. No real discounts for getting care on site.
The benefits there were pretty good. And had a great number of perks like discounts add a great deal of businesses around the area.
They match over the required minimum for 401K. The benefits are not bad IF you use Mercy. If you do not use mercy, prepare to pay.
I wasn't offered a benefits package due to my being a per diem employee. During my orientation classes I learnd that they frequently hire at a per diem status to avoid paying benefits.
Medical and dental coverage are decent. Vision coverage is barely there. There is a 401K plan, but they don't match very much. Vacation time is pretty non-existent. All holidays and sick time are included in your vacation time.
Worst thing- The benefits are terrible! Out of pocket max 2500 for single individual. 75$ copay for specialist visit.... horrible. And getting worse every year.
Great place to work for benefits. Wide variety including wellness benefit
