WORST health insurance. They offer United Health care and honestly it sucks.

United Health Care sucks! Meridian is Medicaid and Medicare, so they provide a plan from a commercial provider. In 2012 it was Blue Cross, but they switched to UHC. I think they switched because they consider BCBS/BCN their primary competitor. UHC is a crappy insurance provider. For pharmacy Meridian offers its own Rx plan, which is penny wise, pound foolish. They want to deny things that shouldn't be denied and there are often issues at the pharmacy's counter.

Not sure, because i was contract employee.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Manager in Detroit, Michigan

They decided to have their sister company run the pharmacy benefits and reduce the number of drugs covered by the health plan, just to save money. They raised the copays so high that the employees might as well pay out of pocket for prescriptions.

Best: We have it Worst: It's UHC
