“Understandably, you can not take for 8 weeks upon start of employment due to training. Otherwise you get over 18 days PTO your 1st year plus holidays!”
Everything is excellent about the package. Specialty meds are easily accessible, as are maintenance medications. Co-pays are affordable, and health care is accessible.
Benefits were good overall. Good health care, PTO and holidays off. No fertility assistance as far as I know, and maternity and paternity leave are 3 months unpaid. Some companies go over and beyond to offer these unique benefits, so in comparison I would give Meridian a 4.5/5 on benefits.
Great benefits! They care about employee benefits.
The benefits were good until the merger with WellCare.
There weren't any perks and the health benefits were close to catastrophic.
Many benefits the company was founded on are no longer offered (i.e: commuter benefit, happy hours, etc). Aetna health insurance, Davis dental and vision. Recently added volunteer time off
It is a younger culture that is eager to work and learn.
day 1 health insurance, accrual PTO, paid holidays, volunteer days, company events
No option to adjust plans
Yeah they give you PTO accrued every pay period, but they do not have SICK time. They give you PTO but never allow you to sue it because the calendar for you department is always closed or some stupid excuse.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
