I love the team I work with, appreciate working from home, the cooperative company culture, great benefit and continuing educational opportunities.
The benefits are very generous
Vacation time is limited is the only con. The health benefits were great. They are inexpensive and come out of your paycheck without having to worry about paying anything. I paid minimum copays here. 401k was also easy to sign up for and comes out of your paycheck each month. I didn't realzie how much goes into this but it was easy for me to decide which to choos.e.
The 401k match is great.
At least you'll have some coverage in case (God forbid) something goes terribly wrong. Insurance options get worse yearly, 401k options aren't terrible but they're not great either. Holidays off are standard (although you may end up working them potentially for no good reason, and find out the day before that holiday). PTO accrual is pretty standard that increases with length of employment.
The timeframe and the allowed amounts
The best thing is that it starts immediately from your day of hire (Medical, Vision, Dental, etc) and it is fairly inexpensive. The bad part is if you want to add a family member, it gets TOO expensive.
Meridian has an awesome benefits package for its employees!
Great benefits offered compared to other companies.
Great benefits with paid holidays and great perks. Nice to see the rebirth of downtown Detroit happening as well! No complaints.
