good hours, travel around the world, friendly crew members, free air fare, health care benefits are ok. Salary is ok.
pro 401k The benefits not worth of working as a flight attendant for the airline. no buddy pass.
They're terrible. Didn't even opt in using them. Just, no.
Flight Benefits is a major benefit, but healthcare benefits can be better.
Free flights, but bad priority level when traveling standby. Better off working for a mainline company. The health benefits don’t have good coverage at all.
The cost of medical is too expensive. It can be more than half of your months wages.
Not a good benefits plan. Only good thing is flight benefits.
The best thing is free air travel on American AND United. Another factor is most new FA hires don't stay on reserve very long. There is a lot of room for advancement and variety in job duties. Recruiters also still fly the line and so do most Ground School Instructors. The only negative is it pays the lowest starting hourly wage of all regionals but it jumps up quickly and money isn't everything. I am thrilled for the opportunity.
Too expensive for what you get. They have an annual payment for flight benefits. License differential pay very low. Pay is low and tops out low.
Health insurance costs too much making it almost cheaper to buy your own, the 401k takes 7 years to vest with only a 3% match, the employee discounts are minimal with the most notable being a 75% Fedex discount on 2nd day air.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
