See comments on 401(k) plan and retirement plan. Overall, seems pretty generous given both a standard 401(k) plan and a defined benefit plan on top.
I think for full-time employees the pension plan should be great because it is an insurance company anyway.

This is a Benefit that was only available to tenured workers who had been over there 10 years.
Apparently not as good as the pension plan they offered 10 or so years ago, but still great to have
Metlife offers a pension plan.
At least they have a pension plan.
