With Metlife they offered full benefits.
Great vacation policy offered and major holidays
Worst thing WORKERS COMP. Don't even bother going through it. They will screw you. It was hard to get days off and holidays/ days when the case managers and everyone else was off we would still have to work. Best thing , decent insurance. Do the copay instead of deductible, you'll end up paying less out of pocket.
The salary is not high enough and some times need to work overtime. But the working environment is pretty good and employees are helpful.
Best thing was the matching of the 401K with vesting after 5 years
Company match 50% up to 6% on 401K. 4 weeks paid time off including 3 weeks vacation and 1 week mix of sick or floating holidays. Good work from home policy and work life balance.
They should offer better benefits for an insurance company especially since they have their own line of dental insurance. Could be improved.
Typical package, 4% 401k, STD and LTD, dental, medical (3 options), 10-15 PTO/year
What is the best or worst thing about the benefits package at MetLife? MetLife offers great employee benefits, including health and great dental insurance. The downside of it is that some of the more widely accepted insurance carriers have been removed as an option over the years, and after years of having the same insurance carrier, having to switch doctors because of this is a downside.
No benefits for students on the internship program.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
