Union based, health plan is decent since it is covered by the city either choose for a cheap plan or free plan. The difference is free plans are city hospitals/clinics and cheap plan (only copay) and you have more choices on where to receive medical treatment. The union covers dental, vision, and medication. Your choice on purchasing additional rider for medication. Pension is covered if you decide to contribute (NYCERS) city pension. Over all very decent since you are city employee.
Standard vacation, sick days, holidays. medical/ Dental coverage is costly!
Best: Multiple retirement accounts you can use.
The City benefits are Ok
The company enjoys the New York City benefits which are relatively good.
Great benefit with low cost health insurance and offers a great pension plan.
The Gym Reimbursement is nice, it's not a lot, but it is helpful.
Must pay for decent health plan if not the free option is worth nothing.
They provide a plan that is in-house and it's a great benefit because it means that it is at no cost to the employee. There is an optional rider that can be purchased and it is recommended if someone is constantly taking medications. The retirement savings plan is through the city and the company does match the contributions the employee makes.
