The best benefits I've ever had. $1 for amazing coverage.
They provide good health insurance
Excellent coverage foe in and out of network
Company offers great health care coverage
The health insurance coverage was impressive (with a low employee contribution) and a huge benefit (Medical, Vision, and Dental). I was spoiled by that health insurance! The company did not give as many holidays as other companies or is the norm in NYC (for instance, no day after Thanksgiving closure, no summer Fridays, no break between Christmas and New Years), but we were provided additional vacation time and floating holidays to make up the difference. However, there was no company maternity leave or paternity leave offered. A 403b plan was offered, but there was not a company match. Instead of a 403b match there was a pension plan. You had to stay for a number of years (I believe 5) in order to be vested, but even so a pension plan is a rare find nowadays. There is also a subway stop literally in front of the building, so the convenience for commuting is great. The ancillary perks such as having a nurse on staff (for minor things such as bandaids, advil, flu shots, etc) and being able to see performances were really great pluses, too.
While the health plan for Administrative employees has changed over the years, it remains excellent compared to other arts organizations.
Very generous health insurance plan, with limited employee premium sharing.
Great benefits for a nonprofit organization.
