“HR department works with you to make sure you understand your pension plan. ”
Worked at other public agencies before landing at MWD, and they offer the best package of them all. Health Insurance is taken care of, defined pension plan, 401k matching, 457 deferred comp, vacation 2-5 week each year depending on years of employment, sick leave, bereavement leave
I am a part-time employee so, I am not offered any benefits.
Health, dental, life, pension, tuition reimburement
Outstanding benefits package. Top tier in industry.
Fantastic benefits with choices and very little employee cost, if any.
Excellent medical/dental plans fully paid for (except medical PPO). 4.5% match on 401k, along with defined benefit pension plan. Tuition reimbursement as well as a wide array of training opportunities offered..Met's educational department is second to none. While Met offers a 9/80 schedule as well as14 paid holidays, newer employees have few other vacation days. Also, employees hired after 1/1/2013 have to contribute a large chunk of their pay to the pension plan whereas legacy employees do not. It's a 2 tiered system, and while still a great benefits package, employees who were hired after 1/1/2013 are not as incentivized to stick around for the long haul.
Choice of good health insurance plans that cover the whole family.
Wonderful benefits are offered to full time employees. 401k company match, 457 available, PERS and union representation.
Excellent health insurance options and paid pension. Tuition reimbursement, 401K matching, holidays and leave benefits are tops too.
Health coverage is fully paid for by the Agency covering you and your family. There's also 401k company match and pension with Calpers. 14 paid holidays, every other friday off, and 2 weeks vacation at starting, up to 5 weeks vacation after 23 years.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
