    Can accrue PTO. However it has to be used for sick time too.

    There are 21 days of paid time off but there's no way to force your PI to let you use it if they think you should be working without any time off. Some even complain when you take a sick leave.

    Standard is 2 weeks/ year and then you accumulate PTO at different rates depending on your job agreement. I wish we had more holidays, but paid seasonal days off are nice (days between Christmas and New Years).
