“Typical package for grad assistants.”
“Nothing for part time work”
“Depends on your manager, but ours is fabulous. One conference per year.”
2x matching retirement and paid healthcare...can't be beat!
Health care benefits are good and the match on 403
Great benefits but covid is no good
Don’t have any as a part time
best thing is health premiums covered and retirement match
Vacation accrual takes 6 months and staff isn’t off for many holidays
health insurance, job training, professional development
Typical package for grad assistants.
Has everything you need, but not as generously as some private industry work options. Sick days, health insurance, professional development funding, reduced tuition, vacation time, vision, retirement with limited employer matching, plus options benefits like pet insurance, dental and vision. Overall the benefits package is reliable, at least in the department where I work.
The retirement match is fantastic and through TIAA Cref which is even better - they have outstanding growth for retirement funds
