Previous years with Premera BCBS covered OBGYN & mental health with standard copay however, with cigna it is considered a specialist and the copay is higher. The cost of the insurance is also higher and the prescription drug plan no longer covers certain medications which, out of pocket, can be costly. Before the HP merger, Micro Focus had better health coverage
The best is that it was easy to get started and choose a coverage. The worst is that we lost some of the providers/prescription coverages under the prior plan.
Micro Focus switched to Cigna this year. It's fine - nothing good or bad about it.
They changed the play last year so still learning what is there or not. Seems competitive with our old plan so far
Multi level plans and they pay majority of premiums
Health insurance benefits are as good if not better than industry standard. Copays are fair and medication coverage is very good.
adopted HPE's benefits program upon merger. Do not know what next will be like
So much more expensive than previous years. You do have a couple of selections though.
Standard Blue Shield coverage. Not bad but nothing extraordinary
There are options and I have not had issues with the Health insurance benefits.
