First thing you learn during the new employee orientation is that there is an employee store. Awesome, right? Except that only software and a few other things (keyboards/mice) are discounted. You can go to a retail store and get a 10% discount but you can find better price in lot of places. Yes, software has a huge discount but most of it you get pre-loaded with a new PC anyway.

There was no discounts given at the retail Microsoft stores for employees while Apple honored a 7% discount for MS employees which made no sense.
