“The best thing is having affordable health insurance and a good 401k with company match.”
“Good Company match up to 8% contribution”
“Good time off. Increases over your years with the company. Wish they had a defined paternity/maternity leave policy”
The benefits package is great. No premium increases in the last 5 years.
401k benefits are good and retirement benefits were comparable with the industry
Really great benefits, with company match on 401K and reasonable deductibles for individual or family. Included in benefits are life, dental, vision and medical.
great benefits, great medical package and eye care
The benefits package overall is outstanding! Very low out of pocket cost for employee health care. Generous PTO policies as well.
Benefits are a mixed bag, let's talk about the good first. Health Insurance is phenomenal, one of the best I've seen at very reasonable prices. For a single employee that doesn't smoke, the cost is $20 every other week with a $1000 deductible and $3500 out of pocket maximum. All of the prescriptions I've needed are $10 as well, which is absolutely amazing. PTO is also generous, at 3 weeks for employees of up to 4 years, 4 weeks up to 9 years, and 5 weeks after 10 years. During Covid, WFH has been extremely common, however there is not yet decision whether that will continue or not once things go back to normal. Financial benefits are less impressive. The company only offers a 50% 401k match up to 8%, which is below average for the industry. It also allows the company to save money under the guise of "encouraging retirement investment". There is also no profit sharing or bonus plan, which most companies in this industry have in addition to a 401k match. The company previously had a phenomenal employee tool purchase discount which somewhat made up for the lack of financial benefits, however this benefit has been suspended indefinitely. All pending orders were also cancelled, which is not a good sign for the future of this program. Overall, the benefits depend on your situation. If you are young and healthy like a vast majority of the company, the benefits are below average. If you can take advantage of the amazing health insurance, then the benefits package will likely be very appealing to you.
No pension but the benefits are strong.
