Had to schedule very far in advanced; 6mths to 1 year
Two weeks paid vacation was pretty standard one week every six months
In time, I was able to accumulate 3 weeks of vacation and a week of sick time. However, it was next to impossible to schedule and use all your accumulated time and you lost the time that was unused.
you only get 5 days and depending on occupancy and service level you can only choose certain days sometimes your vacation can be cancelled without notice.
You get 2 weeks vacation from the start of the new year but if you quit any time throughout the year they deduct it from your last check.
It's a pretty good policy. You do have to bid for your weeks off and it's on a performance basis. You can take one week in the first six months of the year and one week in the second. It works pretty well overall.
Not I, but every employee I cared about had to beg & plead & negotiate vacation time - seriously, no redeeming qualities
