Ministry's benefits are very expensive! I elected to not take any optional benefits with the company due to high cost.
Get up to 8 weeks available time off for combined vacation, sick time and CME. Problem is, then you aren't earning any money, so it's not paid time off. Still, nice to have the option for high earners. Get $5500 for CME/dues/books, etc. or maybe more now, not sure. Health plan charges more based on income, so not great for physicians. Cheaper to use GoodRx and pay cash for generic meds often, rather than using health plan and plan overall worse than most in the area. Retirement plan way below par starting this year due to Ascension. 6.5% of income max employer total contribution. Used to be twice that. Life, vision and dental pretty standard.
