Super high deductible for in and out of network
High deductible plan, low monthly payments
Two years ago, the reasonable health insurance from Blue Cross was switched to a high deductible policy. These are terrible and only save company money. Branded as 'consumer driven', the net effect is to avoid going to doctor to not have to pay out of pocket. HSA compensates somewhat, but overall effect is very negative. for my daughter and I deductible was 4000/8000 and max out of pocket was 8000/16000 (in/out of network).
Too expensive. And each year it gets worse.
Health insurance has extremely high deductive. It's great if you don't get sick but terrible for families.
high deductibles make it less attractive
No Co insurance until after 4k of out of pocket cost. The running joke around the office is to marry someone with good insurance so you don't have to buy the insurance from Misys
Consumer-directed health plan with high individual/family deductibles must be met before insurance pays any claims
