MoMA has amazing benefits. This is due to the fact that much of the staff is unionized and everyone, union or not, ends up getting their benefits. 4.5 weeks of vacation right off the bat. Great health benefits at low cost. Maternity and Paternity leave. They used to have pensions but now just a 403b.
very good benefits! healthcare strong.
MoMA offers up to $3000 in tuition reimbursement per fiscal year. In addition they match contributions to your 403(b) plan. They also offer TransitCheck, which allows employees to pay for transportation with pre-tax income. Good allotment of vacation and sick days.
Being in the building on a daily basis and having preview access to new exhibitions. Library resources.
Nothing bad to say. Great benefits. The public was the worst part of the job.
Health insurance used to be fantastic. With the new union contract it is still excellent, with some exceptions. The vacation is very generous.
The health insurance and 403b plan/Pension have good matching and coverage.
My colleagues who have worked in other museums always say that MoMA's benefits are by far the best and I would agree. The 403b retirement plan is great and the health and dental coverage is good too.
